ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A new cannabis distribution warehouse celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Rochester on Friday.
Nabis is recognized as the nation’s largest licensed cannabis wholesale platform. The company came to the area in order to expand its services and access to areas including Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany.
The company also has a warehouse in the Bronx, serving the five boroughs in New York City.
With the opening set to provide 50 new jobs in the area, the company said in a statement, “This expansion signals a pivotal step for Rochester’s role in the cannabis supply chain, and offers a first look at how Nabis is helping shape a more equitable, efficient industry statewide.”
