New York State’s Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is issuing a recall on multiple adult use cannabis products produced by IndoGrow LLC. OCM officials said the regulated cannabis products are being sold through licensed cannabis adult use dispensaries throughout New York State.

They said the affected products were originally quarantined due to a lack of validity in testing by a former permitted laboratory, adding that OCM authorized a re-test of the products, and nine (9) lots failed due to the presence of unallowable pesticides, posing a potential risk to public health and safety.

They said the following products are affected:

Licensee License Number Product Lot number
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 The Force Pre-Roll SWDV01
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Blue Coffee Flower IC099-001-BC
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Blue Coffee Pre-Roll IC099-BC1-PR
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Sour Runtz Flower IC099-001-SR
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Sour Runts Pre-Roll IC099-SR1-PR
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Cosmic Burst Flower PPPG01
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Oreoz Flower IC099-001-OR
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Oreoz Pre-Roll IC099-OR1-PR
IndoGrow LLC OCM-MICR-000099 Secret Formula Flower IC099-001-SF

According to OCM officials, dispensaries and distributors must cease distribution and sales of the affected products immediately. They said the listed products may also go by names that may include “Indi,” “Grow by Indi,” “Our Creation” and “Grow with Us.”

They said the presence of unallowable pesticides in cannabis products demonstrates a testing violation under 9 NYCRR §123.6(h) for which OCM may issue a recall pursuant to 9 NYCRR §133.4.

OCM officials added that the recall is a precautionary measure and the Office has not received any reports of adverse effects caused by the consumption of the products. They said the investigation into the matter is ongoing.

They said if you are a consumer who purchased any product lots, indicated in the table, produced by IndoGrow LLC and you wish to return the recalled product, please contact the retail dispensary where you purchased these products. They said you can return a recalled product even if you have opened it.

OCM would like to remind consumers to report any incidents related to the use of this cannabis product or any other cannabis product by completing an incident form https://cannabis.ny.gov/report-an-incident.

They encourage New Yorkers to seek immediate medical attention or advice if you are currently experiencing a serious or troublesome cannabis-related symptom(s). Call your health care provider or the Poison Center at (800) 222-1222.
