One person was arrested after a ‘large quantity of cannabis’ was seized during a search warrant by Gwent Police.
The warrant was carried out by the Bettws neighbourhood team in Malpas.
Apart from finding drugs, police seized an electric bike and a knife.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “The Bettws neighbourhood team carried out a warrant recently in Malpas
“The warrant was executed thanks to intelligence from members of the community about drug use in the area.
“One person was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply during the warrant, and officers seized: a large quantity of cannabis, an electric bike and a knife.
